He died on 30 Jun 1932.

He was married to Ida Eleanor POPE on 13 Oct 1897 in Medford, Taylor Co., WI. ⁽³²⁾ Ida Eleanor POPE was born on 8 Dec 1875 in Fort Hartsef, Nebraska. She died on 23 Mar 1930 in Stevens Point, Portage Co., WI.⁽¹⁰⁾

Ehle, Edward Mrs. Pope, Ida Elenora SPDJ 31 Mar 1930 (Stevens Point Daily Journal) Portage County Newspaper (Portage Press): College Graduate dies - Mrs. Edward (Ida Elenora) Ehle, a graduate from the four-year rural superintendence course at the State teachers' College in this city in 1929, died at her home at Phillips (Wi) on Sunday morning of last week, March 23, aged 57 years. Funeral services were held at the Phillips Presbyterian Church last Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. C. H. Henderson and the local Chapter of the Eastern Star. Members of the Royal Neighbors and Woman's Relief Corps also attended in a body. Mrs. Ehle taught in the public schools of Price County (Wisconsin) for 21 years, served two years as county superintendent of schools and was principal of the Forest County teacher's training school for two years. She is survived by her husband, two sons, of whom Glendon Ehle is also a graduate from the local college, class of 1925, and two daughters and one adopted daughter. She also leaves two sisters and one brother, the latter being Casper L. Pope of Walker, Minnesota. See also: Ida Pope EHLE
